Bryce's Story
Bryce Bazor was a special person to his family, friends, and community. He was born on September 5, 2004 and grew up in El Dorado Hills, CA. Bryce attended Lakeview Elementary, Marina Village Middle School, and Oak Ridge High School. He loved playing baseball, fishing, binge watching movies and TV shows, hanging out with friends, and going on adventures. Bryce loved his family: Jim, Jenni, and his younger sister Peyton. They loved spending time with each other by going on road trips and visiting National Parks across the country. Bryce was diagnosed with Stage 4 osteosarcoma during the summer before his senior year of high school. The doctors told Bryce he had roughly six months to survive, and Bryce took that to heart. He battled harder than anyone. Bryce endured a new challenge everyday, but he remained strong. Receiving treatment in Sacramento and Boston, Bryce was resilient and fought until he unfortunately passed away on October 12, 2022 at 18 years old. A beloved life taken way too early in the form of cancer. His parents, along with his sister, have created the Bryce Bazor Foundation to honor their son by providing support to those individuals who suffer from pediatric cancer.
